Mediation is an accessible and cost-effective conflict resolution method, used in many areas (family, work, interpersonal relationships, consumers’ rights, etc.). It is a legally valid intervention – a convenient alternative to the traditional justice system and easy way to solve a conflict without ending up in court. The parties are empowered to find their own solutions to a dispute, while taking all individual needs and interests into account.

Antonia Frei is licensed in Communication Science (University of Sibiu and Salzburg), holds a Master’s degree in Mediation (University of Luxembourg) and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (University of Fribourg). She is currently pursuing an MSc in Clinical Psychology, and working as a media consultant for a private Swiss media group in Berne, and as a social collaborator for a counselling centre in Fribourg. Her work experience includes many years of language coaching, mediation (family, intercultural, community), and human resources. She has a trainer certificate from psyCH and coaches on personal development.

We take time during the Club Meeting to chat with members and discuss other activities this month, particularly the visits to Fribourg and Germany.
