Wonderful day. Everything went smoothly: traffic, visiting the market and a lot of "artesan work", coffee breaks and of course last but not least: relaxing at the Spa. Thank you Graham for guiding us through this awesome experience!
Good idea, Elaine. I need confirmation for everybody for 9:30 AM.
You can bring something to eat, we do not sit down to a dinner, but there are plenty of snacks available at the market. Plus Glühwein of course
Didn't you suggest to leave earlier than 10? At least 2 hours to Colmar if everything goes well, finding a parking space, walking to the market and then the reverse. I think we will be in Colmar much less than 3 hours, which would be a pity considering the long ride to drive there.
How about leaving at 9.30 or even a bit earlier?
Bus is ok, the cost of CHF 300 muset be shared. We will talk about it.
Note that everyone has personal responsibility.
From the bus owner:
"Understandably, the trip is to Colma is a Verein Sightseeing trip and not a commercial one."
Attendees must have personal insurance to cover any accident especially third party or any traffic penalty that may come up.
According to the rules of the International Club, "The ICB is not liable for any loss or damage or injury incurred by members attending events and activities. Caution and insurance are the reponsibilities of the individual."
We have troubles getting a bus contract, its costs look like more than CHF 40. I may have cancel it until our reserve date which is December 16.
Then traveling in my car are the ICB members: Graham, Jill, Elaine, Katia, Dimitri. Sorry, Meetup members are second priority. Perhaps there will be n empty spot, we will see tomorrow.
Tuesday, 20 November, from 19:00 Meeting room, Bruder Klaus Church (tram 7 to Burgernziel)
