Powerpoint Karaoke: Improve Your Public Speaking Skills
Most things in life happen spontaneously. You cannot control what happens, but you can adjust the way you react. You will learn how to face chaos with confidence. In this hands-on workshop we will look at techniques of improvisational public speaking.
We’ll explore your speaking skills and finish the event with a random Powerpoint presentation of each participant. Trust me, we’ve got the most ridiculous slides. We guarantee a safe space to try out things and help yourself become a better speaker.
I am a corporate and commercial director / cinematographer based in Bern (mediacreators.ch). For some friends i am preparing a short feature film in Bern inspired by Woody Allens Midnight in Paris. It is not a "commercial" production and financed just by me and my friend but realised with full cinematographic gear.
For this project I am looking for 2 native English speaking amateur actors (m and f, 30 - 50) to play the lead as a GB or US tourist couple in Bern.
There are also some more roles to be taken over, but not necesseraly by English natives.
The things that are going on outside and inside a flutist become present onstage during a musical piece in the making.
How to voice "what asks to be written" as well as to "what asks to remain unwritten"?
How is your voice is heard or silenced?
