  • Sunday, 30th August 2020 at 2pm

Location: Thunplatz tram stop

This event is in the past.

We meet at Thunplatz 2 PM and walk via the Dählhölzli forest to the Elfenau gardens.

Depending on the weather, we walk onward further to Muribad, or we return to Eichholz where we can join others for a barbecue. .

Contact Graham and join the Hiking chat group.

The walk will also be planned for our Gardening group so be prepared for a few stops to talk about the plants!

We hope the weather is fine for SUnday 30 August.

The plan is to meet at the tram stop at Thunplatz at 14:00 and walk down past the Zoo to the river.

Then we cross the bridge (Schönausteg) and go upriver to the Eichholz park. There at the information center there is a great exhibition on crows and ravens.

City walk on Sunday 19 July.

Meet at Thunplatz at 2 pm at the tram stop and walk throught the forest to Elfenau Orangerie

Time: one hour or more, looking at Gardens and nature.

We return along the Aare and finish with a snack at the zoo restaurant on the riverside, sitting in the self-service area.
Beer, pommes frites, and icecream are great.

And then some of us will go to Eichholz at 4 pm for a swim and barbecue.

Who's coming? See all
