From Oberscherli we ascend a short steep path towards Zingghöch and then follow a path slowly upwards to the top (920m) where we will stop for a picnic. We will enjoy an amazing panorama of the Fribourg and Oberland ranges right to the beginning of the Lucerne mountains. Afterwards we continue, crossing the Lisiberg and pausing to look at another panorama including Mount Niesen and Lake Thun. Then we walk down to Zimmerwald and take a bus back to Berne.

The hike should take about two and a half hours. Bring your snacks and drink, and depending on the weather, warm clothes and rain gear or umbrella. Good shoes are necessary! The hike will take place in cloudy or damp weather but not if rain is heavy.

Just letting everybody know that unfortunately Jumpa will not be available for this hike. But she asked us to keep the event. Since it is great weather as the forcast says, we'll do just that. See you, Nazanin
